GlobalX Launches Court Docket Monitoring Service

GlobalX, who are exhibiting at London Law Expo for the first time this year, recently launched a new Court Docket search service making it easier than ever to track corporate ligation cases.

The new service was launched at the start of August in response to demand from their existing clients who had previously been using Bloomberg. In early July the legal search specialists started to receive an increase in requests for court dockets and enquiries regarding whether they offered a monitoring service.

This led to the discovery that Bloomberg were shutting down their UK Court Docket Search subscription at the end of month. Releasing the negative impact this would have on their clients, they quickly mobilised their product development team to build a new product offering similar to that of Bloomberg’s in just a few weeks.

The resulting service allows law firms to track ongoing ligation cases for newly filed documents as well as monitor for when cases are filed that contain certain keywords such as a company name.

GlobalX can also retrieve court documents on behalf of their client at cost price saving law firms from sending valuable resources themselves.

The service is available on a pay-as-you-go basis making it more accessible than Bloomberg’s old offering a subscription service as well for law firms needing large volumes of cases tracked daily.

The new service compliments GlobalX’s existing portfolio of court services including their award-winning winding up search offering and insolvency checks. From their offices in London, GlobalX can provide an alternative to calling Companies Court with court clerks onsite guaranteed to get results back with 15 minutes.

GlobalX also stepped in to hire some of Bloomberg former court clerk who had led on
