Tiger Eye partner with Appurity Connect to enhance smartphone experience for iManage customers

Tiger Eye announced today a new strategic partnership with Appurity Connect, whose Rubus app allows iManage customers to use the software more fully on their smartphone. Tiger Eye offer a full range of consultancy, support and services to professional services organisations and are a full iManage Partner.

Appurity are cross-platform mobility consultants specialising in app development, security and compliance for smartphones and tablets, and an iManage Technology partner. The new partnership brings together key industry experts in both legal technology and mobility spheres, creating a go-to team for advice on creating a mobile legal workforce.

iManage Work is the document and email management system of choice for Legal and Finance customers. Steve Whiter, Director at Appurity Connect, points out: “The challenge was how to extend iManage’s reach to mobile devices. Appurity Connect has worked closely with the OS manufacturers and iManage to build an app that bridges this gap between smart devices and iManage Work.”

Rubus offers true iManage Work mobile integration. It allows users to find and review correspondence and documents directly from Matter folders, and to email and open NRL links.  Features include ‘send and file’, ‘file from inbox’, ‘search matters’, ‘sync key matters’ plus more, all on an Android or BlackBerry Smartphone.  The Rubus application is also available within a container, and iOS scheduled for release late 2017.

Taylor Vinters, an international law firm with offices in London, Cambridge and Singapore have worked closely with Appurity for the last three years as the Rubus app has been developed and tested. Steve Sumner, Director of IT at Taylor Vinters, comments that having the ability to use all the features of iManage Work from their BlackBerry’s has greatly enhanced their lawyers’ mobile working capabilities, and all the staff at Taylor Vinters are very pleased with their mobile working experience. The solution will soon be migrated to Rubus for Android.

Dave Wilson, MD at Tiger Eye, is delighted at the partnership. “We’re really looking forward to working closely with the team at Appurity Connect, and delivering a complete mobile experience to our iManage customers. At Tiger Eye, we’re always looking forward at how technology is developing and what our customers are looking for. Increasingly, professionals want to be able to work in the same way out of the office as in. We think our customers will be very interested to see how mobile working is developing.”
